Pirates are known to be a wild, crazy, drunken, and often violent group of people. So naturally when you put them all together, something unruly is bound to happen.
Rumor has it that the existence of pirates is close to coming to an end. Society has grown more and more intolerant of them and is getting better at defending themselves against the crimes of piracy. But pirates are not known to take defeat lying down- they fight to the end! This group of pirates is known to be the best of the best; or at least the only ones left who are willing to put up a fight to regain their reign over the seas.
Earlier in the evening they were brought together by one of the more powerful, longer-established pirates, Butch Bumfuzzle. Butch was a controversial figure who made a lot of unpopular choices that changed the evolution of piracy. Some may even blame a number of those choices for what has weakened the world of piracy. Being around for so long has also earned him his fair share of enemies, including those who have gathered here this evening.
After this evening's highly charged meeting, the group decided to meet up and blow off some steam at their local pub, The Salty Clam. Unfortunately, when they arrived, they found Butch murdered. Now, everyone is a suspect and they need to figure out who did it!
