Vincenzo Castellini grew up in a small Italian villiage where he had a traditional Italian upbringing. He met his wife, Geneve in Italy and the two moved to America shortly after being married. After discovering his wife could not have children, he and Geneve decided to adopt. However, due to Vincenzo's compulsive personality, and his big Italian family upbringing, he couldn't just adopt one or two children; instead he adopted eight! During his marriage, Vincenzo and Geneve started a small side business making homemade wine. And again, since Vencenzio couldn't do anything halfway, the small side business turned into a huge undertaking, eventually becoming one of the biggest wine makers and distributors; Vincenzo Vineyards. After many years of marriage, and with their adopted children almost all fully grown, Geneve passed away unexpectedly. Vincenzo spent a few more years as a widower until he stumbled upon the polygamy lifestyle while attending a wine making retreat. Polygamy instantly appealed to Vincenzo's compulsive tendencies, and eventually he took on two wives, with plans for many more.

With his already, very successful vineyard, his large family and his now two sister-wives, Vincenzo's family gained a lot of attention on social media, which eventually caught the eye of the young up-and-coming television producer, Asher. Before they knew it, the entire family was thrust into the spotlight with their own reality TV show: "PolyFamiglia", which focused on the families wealth, successful business, big family and polygamy lifestyle.

This evening, the show's producer, Asher, showed up for a late night meeting with Vincenzo to disucss some concerns regarding the show. Unfortunately, when Asher found him in the wine cellar, Vincenzo was already dead, clearly murdered, lying in a pool of his own blood. Asher immediately put a hold on production and called the family together to figure out what happened before the news of Vincenzo's murder is leaked.
